Heart of Texas Music Festival I headed to Brady on Thursday morning for the 35th Annual Heart of Texas Music Festival. Pepper and I were the first of our group to get to the campground and get set up. Friends showed up later and we went to the Civic Center for 3 days of dancing. We checked out area RV parks and took a drive to Mason. I had TWO blowouts on the camper on the way home. That makes THREE blowouts in the month since I picked the camper up from service at the dealership . The tires were all overinflated. Bill Fenn Musical Scholarship Fundraiser I got the camper back from the shop on Monday and on Friday morning, I headed out for the weekend. Got two new Goodyear Endurance tires at Discount Tire in Brenham first thing in the morning. Put the spare back on the back of the trailer and headed towards San Antonio for a weekend of dancing and a little camping. The bathroom pocket door was off the rail again. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The dances started at 2 pm each day with a supper break between them. It was nice to see the scholarship winners be able to take the stage and show off their talents. Two young girls played the fiddle and one young man played the steel guitar. So glad to see that the younger generation is learning the ropes to keep country music live. They sold some food and we could bring in snacks. MMM! Tamales! Sefcik Reunion Weekend

Family Reunion and Dancing I went to stay at a fairly new RV park in Belton, TX across the interstate from the Bell County Expo. It is a very nice park and I would stay here again. It was only about 10 minutes from Bo's Barn Dancehall , so I just had to go hang out for a while and check out Branded Heart . The next day was our Sefcik Reunion in Seaton so I closed up and headed there for lunch. After that, I set my sights on Diamond I Venue in Dime Box, TX and dry camped in the parking lot at no cost. It is so nice of the owners to let us do that sometimes! We are regulars, for sure! Kenny Orts & No Chance was playing that night, one of my favorites.
